OUR MEMBERS

Innovation has made plastic and aluminum vital to modern life, especially in the containers and packaging we use for consumer products. But the of nature of these materials is evolving and the manner that we use and reuse plastic and aluminum has a growing impact on our planet. Scientists, engineers, technicians and innovators around the world are making sustainable change to help build a cleaner, brighter future. Yet, recycling rates in the United States are low compared to many parts of the world and American consumers have little incentive to recycle.

REWARDS PROGRAM

R4R Ventures is building a network of Reverse Vending Machines (RVM’s) designed to collect single-use plastic bottles and aluminum cans. Advanced senso-based sorting technology allows consumers to deposit recyclables into an RVM and receive instant credit in their R4R Account. As credits build, consumers can use these rewards in our Retail Partner locations or at their store website.

PARTNER WITH US

R4R Ventures has designed a unique Recycling Rewards Program to provide consumers with a broad range of meaningful reward benefits while at the same time giving them the opportunity to make a significant contribution to environmental sustainability. Reverse Vending Machines (“RVMs”) have existed for many years and have typically been installed in states with container deposit laws, also known as “bottle deposit” states. Many Americans, however, are not familiar with RVMs because only 10 of our states have such laws.

Pepsi estimates that shifting to bottles made from 100% rPET reduces GHG emissions by 35% per bottle. By 2024 Pepsi plans to phase out bottles made from virgin plastic.

Our approach was designed to motivate and incentivize environmentally sound behavior, reduce the impact of single-use packaging, support efforts to lessen the impact of Climate Change and provide valuable financial benefits to program members.

Plastic recycling rates remain low and stagnant across the United Sates, with vast volumes of plastic being disposed of and leaking into our environment

ABOUT US

OUR APPROACH

R4R Ventures, has created a unique program of mission-driven financial incentives and industry strategies we believe promote circular economy for single-use plastics and aluminum containers.

R4R Ventures has developed an innovative environmentally-based model that will increase recycling rates for both plastic bottles and aluminum cans through a state-of-the-art Rewards Program that is free to consumers.

INCENTIVIZING GOOD BEHAVIOR

For the first time, R4R has created a unique rewards program that provides a real incentive to recycle beverage bottles and cans thru our Reverse Vending Machine network.

In the ten states that offer bottle deposit programs, (“cents-per-bottle”) if users return bottles and cans, they do nothing more than get their money back. In these states, consumers are required to post a deposit in advance. If they do not return the bottles, they lose their deposit. That can get very expensive.

WHY RECYCLE

While you may simply toss your plastic water bottle into your recycling bin and never think of it again, it is important to recognize the value of recycling as it pertains to your own life and the environment in which you live.

Recycling is a world of its own, a vital business that has a positive impact on the environment and businesses around the world.
